On April 26, 2023, DR Laser released its annual performance report, stating that the operating income in 2022 was approximately 1.324 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 5.37%. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was approximately 411 million RMB, a year-on-year increase of 7.92%. The basic earnings per share were 2.42 RMB, a year-on-year increase of 7.56%. The revenue in the first quarter of 2023 was approximately 348 million RMB, a year-on-year increase of 11.91%, and the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was approximately 93.49 million RMB, a year-on-year increase of 0.54%.

DR Laser has been deeply involved in the field of micro-nano laser precision processing for many years and is the first domestic high-tech enterprise to introduce laser technology into the photovoltaic solar cell production line. The company will continue to deepen its involvement in the photovoltaic industry, improving conversion efficiency through technology development and joint research and development with customers, solving industry pain points, and expanding into the semiconductor, panel display, and consumer electronics fields. The application of the company’s precision laser processing equipment is expected to expand into more areas, which is beneficial to improving the company’s profitability and reducing operational risks.

In 2022, the photovoltaic industry developed rapidly, and there was a strong expansion of cell production. DR Laser’s PERC laser ablation and SE laser doping equipment had a leading global market share and had technical reserves and market expansion in TOPCON, IBC, HJT, perovskite, and other cell routes. The company’s laser doping equipment applied to TOPCON achieved mass production orders. The laser micro-etching equipment for back contact (BC) cells was technologically advanced, and the company secured mass production orders from top companies. The laser equipment orders for the perovskite process were delivered, and single-station equipment orders for laser transfer were fulfilled.

Up to now, the company has successfully applied laser processing technology to high-efficiency solar cell and component technologies such as PERC, TOPCON, IBC, HJT, and perovskite. It is one of the few companies in the industry that can provide comprehensive solutions for efficient solar cell laser processing. Well-known international photovoltaic companies such as LONGi Green Energy Technology, Tongwei Group, Aikosolar, Jinko Solar, JA Solar, Trina Solar, CSI Solar, Hanwha Q Cells, and Risen Energy have cooperated with the company.

As of December 31, 2022, the company has a total of 229 domestic and foreign patents and has mastered multiple core technologies related to lasers, laser processing technology, high-precision motion platforms, and core modules, electronic and motion control technology, software technology, and other related fields. Currently, the company is continuously developing new laser technologies and applying them to different high-efficiency battery processes to improve efficiency or reduce costs. At the same time, in the display panel industry and other fields, the company is actively extending its technology.
